Activity at the Poker Flats Research Station due to auroral activity within the last month made me think of this event. It actually took place just over two years ago, but since I didn't have a blog then I'll share it now. "Build a rocket boys" is the name of an album by the band Elbow. The song which has those lyric, however, is called "lippy kids". I thought the name was fitting for the below entry. Of course, those lyrics keep going through my head...
